Overview

Integration of the Wero payment feature into BNP Paribas' banking app, replacing Paylib — the most significant and complex project of my career.

Challenge

Replace Paylib's "Send Money" experience while preserving the habits of traditional banking customers, and introduce QR-code-based payments to users who had never used a neo-bank.

Process

• ·Discovery: stakeholder workshops, user interviews, competitive benchmark
• ·User research & in-person testing with diverse banking profiles
• ·Full user journey mapping across all Wero entry points
• ·High-fidelity prototypes + custom graphic assets & illustrations
• ·Multi-brand developer handoff (BNP Paribas, Hello Bank…) via Figma/Zeplin
• ·Pedagogical UI to onboard users unfamiliar with QR codes and money requests

Results

• ✓Exceeded Paylib's user adoption and transaction volume in the first months after launch
• ✓Strong comprehension even from users who had never used QR codes — proven by in-person testing
• ✓Seamless multi-brand rollout across BNP Paribas group
